Do you enjoy the cruising life? Do you "Love Lucy?" Then why not combine both interests. Cruise Planners are organizing a very special Diamond Jubilee Cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's "Oasis of the Seas" ship to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the "I Love Lucy" show.
There will be look-a-like contests, "I Love Lucy" trivia contests, recreations of memorable scenes from the show, Q&A forums (with guests TBA), a special area for "I Love Lucy" collectors, "A Night At The Tropicana" party featuring a live conga band, a 1950s costume party and much more.
The cruise sets sail on October 15, 2011 and on the first night there will be a screening of the very first "I Love Lucy" episode 60 years to the day from the original broadcast date. The ship departs from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and will visit Labadee, Haiti, Falmouth, Jamaica and Cozumel, Mexico.
